WhatsApp is currently developing a new feature limited only to WhatsApp Business.
WhatsApp has revealed that it is currently working on a new feature that allows users to set cover photos to their WhatsApp Business profile.
As per WABetaInfo, the company is working on a new way to manage WhatsApp Catalog. WABetaInfo has revealed that the feature will not be available to standard WhatsApp user accounts and it is presently under development. Once the feature is enabled for beta testers, there will be some visible changes in the Business profile settings.
This feature will introduce a camera button in the business settings, where you can select an existing photo or take a new one to use as the cover photo. Standard WhatsApp users will be able to view the cover photo of a business profile.
As the feature is still under development, the reveal date is yet to be revealed but users will be notified once the feature is available for Beta testers.
The instant messaging giant has been on a roll lately having released a new WhatsApp Camera UI for iOS users. The company is also expected to release the ‘Community’ feature in a future update. Community is said to be similar to a private group chat where group admins will have more control over the group and will be able to link other groups.
